Whether you are a basic student, beginner or advanced shredder there is always something to learn when it comes to guitar. Learn modern techniques and tricks encompassing Blues, Rock, Metal, and more from one of our fully capable instructors. Co-Owner Mark Day can show you advanced soloing, bending, vibrato as well as how to get a great live or recorded tone. Also on staff are instructors Brandon O'Flaherty and Paul Bryan. Our teachers can guide you through basic electric guitar through to advanced. Video lessons on DVD can be provided for a small additional fee. The guitar studios are equipped with great sounding tone generators and the latest in multimedia music software.

Along with Mark Day, Limelight is fortunate to have Brandon O'Flaherty to show you basic Acoustic Guitar and some cool campfire tunes. Stephen Murray is our Bass Instructor and is the bass player in Cornwall's own Rubsalt.

Limelight's Vocal program has become one of it's most popular offerings. Our Vocal Instructor, Candy Provost is an amazing vocalist with years of experience. Candy will show you proper technique and give you the tools you need to achieve your vocal goals.

Come and join our piano instructors who are Conservatory trained and certified instructors. Enjoy the sound of our beautiful Yamaha piano as you learn at your own pace through a Conservatory program or a more leisurely program for your enjoyment. Lessons are 30 minutes in length.

Incredible musician Roy Nichol is here to show beginner to advanced drum techniques. We have some really cool Yamaha electronic kits that sound huge and are a blast to bang away at! 2 kits mean the student doesn’t waste time swapping seats with the instructor.

We have some really cool recording gear at Limelight including a MacBook Pro, Digidesign 003, Presonus, Joe Meek and ART MPA Gold Mic Preamps, an awesome Neumann TLM 103 vocal mic, ProTools and Waves software. We’ll make you sound GREAT!! Best of all you can record here or at your location.

Music lessons in a fun, hi-tech, professional and comfortable setting with qualified and patient working musicians as instructors. All studios are equipped with computers that have everything needed to help student and instructor alike, including notation and recording software as well as access to the internet. Besides lessons in guitar, piano, drums, bass, vocals, song writing, band rehearsal and coaching, Limelight offers recording services so if you are a band, choir, single, duo, karaoke singer or whatever Limelight can help. We have great gear like Mac, ProTools, Neumann, Waves, etc to make you sound your best. While you are waiting, enjoy our lounge with large screen LCD TV, Internet Cafe, wireless internet or enjoy a friendly Guitar Hero III competition. Snacks and beverages are available. Don’t forget we are right upstairs above Schnitzel’s European Flavours, where you can grab a quick bite or adult beverage.
